LOGLINE
A heartbroken resident doctor and a motorcycle-taxi driver fall in love across class lines, proving that the most enduring romance may begin not with destiny, but with simply showing up.
SYNOPSIS
Tawan, an exhausted internal-medicine resident, believes he has finally reunited with the man he has loved since university—only to discover that he was never more than a temporary secret. The person who remains beside him is Mork, a Bangkok motorcycle-taxi driver whose life could not be further from Tawan’s professional world. Their relationship grows through rides across the city, hospital shifts, food, family obligations, and ordinary acts of kindness that become more meaningful than grand romantic gestures. Surrounded by taxi drivers, patients, elderly friends, and chosen family, the novel rejects glamorous romantic archetypes in favor of a grounded story about class, dignity, heartbreak recovery, and believing that ordinary people deserve extraordinary love.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Rangsimant is a Thai neurologist and novelist whose career combines medical practice with popular fiction. Before developing the darker Neuro-Psycho-Thriller works that later became his signature, My Ride, I Love You established him as a distinctive voice in contemporary Thai BL. The novel draws on the contrast between hospital life and Bangkok’s motorcycle-taxi culture to create a romance grounded in everyday work, class difference, and emotional recovery. Patrick’s medical experience gives authenticity to Tawan’s demanding professional environment, while his emphasis on ordinary kindness and chosen family makes the story notably warm and accessible. Its international editions and television adaptation helped establish his broader global readership.
