LOGLINE
A psychiatrist reconstructing a viral murder-suicide discovers that a celebrated romance between two psychologically vulnerable men may have been manipulated from the beginning as the ultimate performance of obsession.
SYNOPSIS
Dr. Nin is drawn into the aftermath of a relationship that became a national spectacle before ending in livestreamed violence. Krit craves attention with pathological intensity, while Phu is an architecture student living with untreated schizophrenia. What looks like a tragic romance gradually becomes a closed system of performance, delusion, manipulation, and social-media validation. As Nin reconstructs their digital history, every account of victimhood becomes suspect and every declaration of love conceals another layer of control. Written by a neurologist, the novel turns psychiatric diagnosis, unreliable narration, and online voyeurism into a ruthless psychological thriller about intimacy becoming content and tragedy becoming the ultimate performance.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Rangsimant is the pen name of Utain Boonorana, M.D., a Thai neurologist and novelist whose fiction combines neuroscience, psychiatry, psychological suspense, romance, and mystery. He is known for transforming real neurological and psychiatric conditions into narrative engines rather than using them merely as background detail. In I Love / Kill You, his clinical understanding of schizophrenia, personality disorders, gaslighting, and distorted perception becomes the foundation for a dark exploration of obsessive love and digital voyeurism. His dual career as a physician and storyteller has established his distinctive “Neuro-Psycho-Thriller” approach and contributed to the strong adaptation potential of his work.
