LOGLINE
After an accidental killing, a woman crosses through a mirror into a reality where her victim still lives—but every attempt to prevent murder creates a new killer.
SYNOPSIS
After a fatal act leaves Choi Seung-eon consumed by guilt, an impossible discovery fractures her reality: the person she believes she killed is alive on the other side of her mirror. Crossing through the glass, she enters a parallel world moving through the same time but shaped by different choices. There the murder has not happened—yet—and the identities of victim, killer, and even Seung-eon herself begin to shift. Moving between two realities, she tries to prevent a crime while confronting the consequences of every road not taken. A high-concept psychological thriller about guilt, choice, alternate lives, and the terrifying burden of knowing what might have been.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
With Murder in the Mirror, Chun Ji-hye extended her career from romance into speculative psychological thriller. She developed the novel with screen adaptation in mind, using parallel realities and competing versions of events to create highly visual suspense. The work also reflects her interest in women-centered genre storytelling and emotionally grounded high concepts. Its French graphic-novel and digital-comics adaptation demonstrated the international portability of her ideas, while Chun’s broader career across web fiction, television writing, and cross-media development gives her a distinctive ability to design stories that remain compelling when transferred from prose to visual formats.
