SYNOPSIS

A once-abundant forest is torn apart by volcanic eruption and earthquake. As the two halves of the land drift into drastically different climates, the animals living on each side gradually change to survive: some develop larger eyes and ears for heat, while others grow thick fur against the cold. When the continents finally meet again, the transformed animals recognize one another despite their differences. A visually elegant picture book that introduces adaptation, environmental change, resilience, and belonging without relying on technical language.
