Jang Yu-sim is a Korean poet, children’s writer, and essayist who studied children’s literature education at Gwangju National University of Education. She has received recognition in literary competitions and writes stories intended to bring young readers pleasure and imaginative energy. The Tiger’s Candy Bouquet was her first picture book. Jo Myeong-hwa studied applied art and works as an illustrator and picture-book creator. She is active with the Korea Publishing Art Association, the Children’s Culture Promotion Association, and Haneuljigi. Together, Jang’s playful folktale-inspired storytelling and Jo’s lively visual humor create a mischievous adventure rooted in both familiar fairy-tale patterns and Korean tiger folklore.
