After an elevator accident leaves a pilot terrified of sunlight, hypnotherapy unlocks childhood memories he erased to survive—and reveals someone from that darkness has been waiting for him.

SYNOPSIS

Pilot Han Jun survives a terrifying elevator accident only to emerge with an inexplicable new condition: sunlight causes overwhelming fear and physical agony. Confined to darkness and diagnosed with heliophobia, he undergoes hypnotherapy to uncover the trauma buried beneath the disorder. But the deeper he descends into suppressed childhood memories, the more disturbing the past becomes—an abusive family history, recurring nightmares, and a shadowy figure who appears to have spent years waiting for revenge. Moving between psychiatric treatment and fractured memory, Sunlight Phobia is a psychological mystery about the things the mind erases to survive—and what happens when those memories refuse to stay buried.
