Park Sung-eun is a Korean picture-book author and illustrator who hopes to transform ordinary moments into stories that offer readers quiet comfort. She received an Excellence Award at the 6th Woongjin Junior Picture Book Awards and was selected as a shortlisted illustrator at the 2023 NAMI CONCOURS. She wrote and illustrated My Summer Days and has illustrated books including Grandmother’s House, Grandmother’s Knees, and The Last Train to Silla. Her work is distinguished by an affectionate gaze toward childhood, family, landscape, and memory, often finding emotional richness in experiences that appear simple at first glance.
