SYNOPSIS
A small star has lost its way and even forgotten its name when it slips through a window and meets Leo the cat. Rather than asking the star to become something different, Leo simply notices its light and gives it a name: Lucy. He then leads Lucy into a secret singing garden where flowers bloom through music and emotion is allowed to flow freely. As Lucy listens, sings, and cries warm tears, she realizes that her light was never truly gone. Accompanied by music, this tender story explores naming, identity, emotional healing, friendship, and the restorative power of being genuinely seen.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Do Kyung-hee is a Korean music designer and art-therapy planner who studied clinical music therapy and cultural social psychology in graduate school. Through a range of educational and therapeutic projects, she develops programs connecting emotion, music, culture, and people across generations. Lucy’s Song reflects her belief that picture books and music can create spaces where emotion and imagination meet. Han Dam-hee is a Korean illustrator and picture-book artist whose works include The Gorilla Hair Salon, An Elephant Got Stuck, Doo-Doo, the Hundredth Sheep, and The Star Papa. Their collaboration combines therapeutic musical sensitivity with warm visual storytelling to create a gentle story about naming, recognition, and recovering one’s inner light.
