LOGLINE

Joy follows playful clues from friend to friend, searching for a mysterious piano so she can give her brother a heartfelt birthday song.

SYNOPSIS

Joy is searching for something precious, but she can remember only a few unusual clues: it has a wooden body, sings when touched gently, can slam its mouth shut, and has many teeth. She knocks on one friend’s door after another, collecting suggestions and companions as the riddle grows. The answer is finally revealed to be a piano, and Joy’s real reason for searching becomes clear—she wants to sing a special song for her little brother’s birthday. With repetition, playful deduction, and a warm emotional payoff, the book turns a guessing game into a celebration of friendship, curiosity, community, and sibling love.
