A boy without a dream discovers through family adventures that life need not be rushed, and joy can grow at its own pace.

SYNOPSIS

A young boy feels uneasy because everyone keeps asking what his dream is, and he simply does not have an answer. Instead of pressuring him, his parents invite him to play, explore, and enjoy the present. They fly kites, discover constellations, ski, and even revisit Dad’s childhood through an imaginative VR journey. There the boy learns that his father once had uncertain and playful dreams too, yet eventually found his own path. Warm and reassuring, the story encourages children to trust their timing, enjoy ordinary moments, and understand that dreams do not need to arrive on someone else’s schedule.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Auyayo is a Korean picture-book author and illustrator who studied media education in graduate school. By day, the artist works in a museum designing exhibition content, and by night creates drawings and picture books. Auyayo’s stories often begin with small moments that might otherwise seem ordinary or insignificant, then expand through visual imagination into playful reflections on childhood and everyday life. Works include Dot Dot Dot and It’s Okay to Go Slowly. In this book, Auyayo turns the pressure children often feel to define their future into a gentle invitation to enjoy the present, trust personal timing, and discover that happiness does not depend on having an answer ready.
