LOGLINE
A roadside wall silently receives animals struck by cars, becoming a witness whose stillness turns grief, helplessness, and remembrance into unexpected, enduring compassion.
SYNOPSIS
A tall roadside wall spends every day watching cars speed past. Unlike the drivers, however, the wall sees the small animals struck while trying to cross: a young water deer, a wild boar, and a kitten. Unable to move or rescue them, the wall becomes the place where injured creatures lean in their final moments. Told from the wall’s unexpected perspective with poetic restraint, this moving picture book transforms concrete into a silent witness to roadkill, asking what it means to remain present, remember, and offer compassion when nothing can be undone.
