A cheerful fart rejected everywhere keeps seeking friendship until children welcome his music, proving that belonging can begin by embracing what others avoid.

SYNOPSIS

Frankie is green, gassy, musical, cheerful—and a fart. He believes he has everything needed to be a wonderful friend, but every time he approaches people with enthusiasm, they wrinkle their noses, run away, or try to escape his smell. After one rejection after another, Frankie begins to wonder whether he is destined to be alone. Then he meets children who respond differently: they laugh, play, enjoy his music, and welcome him exactly as he is. Blending toilet humor with genuine emotional warmth, this award-winning picture book celebrates friendship, belonging, self-worth, inclusion, and accepting qualities others may initially reject.
